Tryckle Electric or Gas Reverse Trike starting @ $9500 USD approx (order now in Cape Coral, FL - USA)
We are offering these trikes at $9500 plus a suitable donor bike, as electric powered. The vehicles top speed is 50mph and has a range of 30-50 miles depending upon conditions. The main "tub" and body are fiberglass, we've used a VW torsion front end. In the prototype shown here, we used a donor Yamaha FZR with various fabricated components. The body shell and chassis (tub) are molded fiberglass composite.
The basic system is a 72volt battery powered DC Sepex motor with regenerative braking, and programmable controller. You have forward & reverse at the flick of a switch. We are using SLA AGM batteries with an onboard charger. With SLA batteries the trike weighs approximately 1000 lbs. Various other electric motors and batteries are available. As an option, using the gasoline engine from the 'donor' motorcycle as power is both practical and economical.
